The true purpose of your life
There’s a poem from a great Bangali poet that simply goes like this: 'Spring is past, summer has gone and winter is here. And the song i meant to sing remains unsung , for i spent my days stringing and unstringing my instrument". This was for the man whose heart was full of regrets and a life half lived . He always wanted to do the things that matter, do something special something great, important, and creative but he has lost his true connection with himself.Forgotten his true self. spent his days mindlessly , not knowing that he was meant to do creative, productive things and impact the world . The song of his life remained unsung because he was busy being busy. Are you busy being busy? And distracted in the cult of mediocrity. Have you lost that deepest connection with your truest self of who you truly are . Have you lost that inner child within you who always wanted to do great things and astonish the world but those ambitions became dormant . You were meant to sing a song but it begins to remain unsung because you living your days just distracted like everyone. My challenge and encouragement to you is that you can become that person you have always wanted to be. You can become that force of good and live a remarkable life and truly be who you meant to be. Which remembers me George Bernard shaw who was asked on his deathbed of what he would do with life if he returns . He replied: " I wish I could become the person i know i was meant to be".Be that business builder, be that mother or father,be that athlete, musician or whatever. Don’t postpone it to next year or next month. Start being yourself right now and begin the things that energizes you and make you happy.
